Revered Guruji Srila Prabhupada:
Kindly accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. I am very glad to receive your kind letter dt. 29/11/76 on 30/11/76. I had written a letter to you in Vrindavana address. I think you might have in the meanwhile, received that letter. In that letter I have mentioned how mutation work on our land affairs here has initially completed. You will be happy to know that, in the meanwhile, I have received the affidavit from Mr. Bijayananda Kanungo. It is your grace and Lord Krishna's causeless mercy that Mr. Bijayananda Kanungo changed his mind and sent affidavit to me. Wonderful Krishna very wonderfully made him change his mind. Now there is no trouble regarding our possession of land. Now we can safely begin construction on the land.
As regards the planning and the consruction estimates of the temple to be built here, I am to say that your Divine Grace wants to build here a temple excatly like Lord Jagannath's temple in Puri, and it will be a very important temple. Then it will become one of the great (P.T.O) temples in the world. Hence, accordingly the plans and estimates should be made. In the meanwhile I contact some engineers and contractors for plans and estimates. They say first the plan should be made, then the estimate should be prepared according to the plan. The engineers say that it would take a several month's time to make a suitable plan for a temple excatly like Jagannath's temple in puri, and it is a herculean task as well. It is not a single handed job, many engineers would work together to make the plan perfect in all respects. A thousands of rupees would be spent for the purpose also. This is the opinion of the engineers. As we have no idea and experience about these affairs of construction, planning and estimates etc, we listen to them with words only. Hence, I request you that it would be better you kindly send one expert devotee like Saurabha, who is competent and experienced enough in the temple building affairs to see how it would be executed here nicely and promptly.
However, I have come in contact with an experienced architect-engineer named Sri Rama Chandra Padhi (who is a devotee of Krishna also) and have requested him to prepare plans for the construction of the temple on our land, as our Guru Maharaja desires. Previously he has also prepared a master plan for the site (P.T.O.) now he has begun work. He tells me that after a week he will give me a general outline plan of the temple (i.e. a rough plan) and a rough estimate, a tentative estimate for the purpose. As soon as I obtain it from him, I decide I will go with it to Hyderabad to meet you and talk to you personally. Kindly shower your blessings on this unworthy servant of yours, so that he would be able to execute your plans here, otherwise it is impossible on his path to act.
Always seeking your causeless mercy and blessings I remain.

Your eternal servant,
Goura Govinda Swami
