Question: We have so many gurus nowadays. Never before we had so many gurus. We had just one that was in the disciplic succession, like Śrīla Bhaktivinoda; it was only him. Then, it was Śrīla Bhaktisiddhanta and then it was Śrīla Prabhupada. It is not that I want to find out who is going to be the next ācārya but I don’t understand that, if there are so many pure devotees, there is not even one ācārya.
Gour Govinda Swami: Nowadays, in ISKCON, there is no ācārya system. Therefore so many gurus are there. The choice is yours. You can choose anybody, if you develop faith in someone. That is a question of faith, unflinching faith and of your spontaneous attraction. That’s all. Do you understand? Presently, there is no ācārya system.
