“Haridāsa Ṭhākura prayed to the Lord, “Please forgive these rascals. They are such ignorant fools; they don’t know what they are doing. Please forgive them.”

Haridāsa Ṭhākura prayed to the Lord, “Please forgive these rascals. They are such ignorant fools; they don’t know what they are doing. Please forgive them.” And Haridāsa Ṭhākura tolerated everything. He is such a great personality, a great devotee. He didn’t curse them. Rather, he prayed for their welfare. He is Vaiṣṇava. A Vaiṣṇava shows mercy to one and all, to all living entities. A Vaiṣṇava is so merciful. He is not envious at all, not to speak of killing any living entity.
