Revered Guruji Maharaj Srila Prabhupada:

Kindly accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. I am very glad to receive your letter dt 18/9/76. I received it on 29/9/76, the day I reached here after my Calcutta stay. I had been to Calcutta and was staying there for a fortnight to see printing work in Oriya and to do proof-readingwork. Here I cannot answer your letter in time Kindly excuse me. Recently we publish "Krishna consciousness, the Topmost yoga System" in Oriya. Next we may print "Krishna Book Vol I". It requires your causeless mercy and blessing to do seva nicely.

Now as regard to your three questions I beg to state that middle of October is not advisable to come to Orissa, as very often Orissa faces cyclone during that period. It lasts upto the first part of November. Then, when winter sets in it is all good to come here. Hence I suggest that you Divine Grace may come here after the 1st half of November.

As to your second question I may say that I know there is a spring named "Kedara-Gouri Kunda" in old Bhubaneswar, just close to the Kedara Gouri Temple, whose water is very good for the patients who have got stomach troubles.

In answering your third question I may very much amazed that you raise the question, in such a time, when the settlement authorities have taken up the work of this unit after a long period of procrastination. The settlement camp is still operating. It has not finished its work yet. Still it will continue for a few months. Very often I go there and enquire when the work will be taken up Everytime I hear (P.T.O) them say, "No, that area has not yet been taken up. It will be delayed. Please wait." It is miraculous to note that they have taken up the work just when you raise the question. But some problem has arised. They (the settlement authorities) say that the name of the donor (i.e. the name of Mrs. Chhabi Kanungo, wife of Sri Bijayananda Kanungo) has not been recorded in the settlement records. First she must produce the records i.e. sale-deed (kabala कबला) for establishing her proprietorship on the land, on strength of which she will be able to donate the land. Secondly she will have to produce an affidavit in respect to the act of such. These two document should be proceeded. Then the thing will be easier to record our name in the settlement records.I enquired at Calcutta, the address given in the donation deed; but they are not found out there. Where they are now staying is a question. Now I am writing a letter to their Calcutta address, whether they are there. I am also trying to trace them out whether they are at Calcutta. If so, I may either go there to obtain documents from them or tell them to come here to produce documents before settlement officers. This is the position now in respect of mutation work, this is for your kind information. I hope your blessings will make everything easier and all problems will be solved very soon.

Always seeking your blessings. I remain

Hare Krushna.
Your eternal servent
