One who glorifies a Vaiṣṇava, he gets mercy. You understand? For a Vaiṣṇava, there is no death. Vaiṣṇava has no death. He is always there. When he is physically present, he is physically present, and at that time the followers, disciples should serve his body known as vapu-seva. But when he goes to the spiritual abode, enters into nitya-lila, still he is here. He lives in his vani. Prabhupad Mahāraja, my revered spiritual master, has given us so many books, so many lecture tapes, so many things. Still, every day we chant it, read it, glorify it. Isn't it? This is known as vāni-seva.
Vapu-seva, vani-seva.
You understand? There is no separation of Gurudeva from the disciple. It is eternal relationship. As long as the spiritual master is here physically present, disciple's duty is to serve him, to follow, to obey his order, instructions and give all sorts of comfort to his body. This is known as vapu-seva. But when he leaves this world, disappears, but he still remains here, in his vani. At that time, the disciples and the followers should remember his instructions, should read his books, remember his speeches, his instructions and act accordingly thereby they are serving. That is vani-seva. Eternally it goes on so there is no separation of Gurudeva from disciple. Disciple should not think like that. Do you understand? It is very, very painful if someone thinks, if a disciple. thinks, 'my Gurudeva has gone away from me.' It is very, very painful. Better to die. It is more than that. Therefore we, the disciples of Srila Prabhupad, never think so.
When we do this jaya prema-dvani, we never say and we shouldn't say 'nitya-līlā praviṣṭa'. No. For us, he is always with us. That is very painful for us if I hear, if someone says, 'nitya-līlā praviṣṭa'. No. Say 'nitya-līlā praviṣṭa' for Bhaktisiddhānta, Bhaktivinod, others, not for my Gurudeva. I warn you, it is very painful to me. He is always with me.
He is always with his disciples. You understand? No separation at all. That is the most important thing. Do you understand? All right, now it is already past eleven. I won't talk more. My speech is at the last. We have two sittings. This sitting will continue up to 12 then we'll have puja, then prasad. Again the sitting will continue in the evening. So we have a list of speakers, they will speak. Those who cannot speak, they will be requested to speak in the evening. So it will be concluded; this session will be continued. Understand? All right, let me now call the persons. There are a few, very few disciples of Prabhupad here. We called them but they didn't come. Until now they are not coming. Alright, now, I will ask some speakers to glorify Srila Prabhupad. She came here for the laying down of the cornerstone. She stayed here for sixteen days. She took harinama from Prabhupad. She is disciple of Prabhupad. When Prabhupad, after staying in this place, he was going to leave this place for Calcutta, she asked Prabhupad, "My dear Guru Mahāraja, when will you again be coming here to this place?" Prabhupad Maharaja said, "I will come here when this temple will be completed and deities will be installed." You see. One may think, "How will it be? Prabhupad is no longer now in this material world, he is in a spiritual body. How will he come? Up 'til now we have not completed this temple, isn't it?' Though twelve years have pass, still incomplete, still hanging on my head, and day and night thinking of this thing, 'how can I do it?' I pray for the mercy of Prabhupad. His mercy is so powerful. When he had expressed a desire, it must be fulfilled. So I think what Prabhupad has say, that he will come here when the temple will be opened, and the deities will established, I think it must come true. Isn't it? Thank you.
The function was going on, festival. I was there at that time. Prabhupad was giving lecture. Many lakhs of people assembled. After the lecture, one person asked Prabhupad, "Dear Srila Prabhupad, why don't you show some miracle?" Then Prabhupad said, "What miracle you want to see? We are Vaiṣṇavas. Vaiṣṇavas are not after miracles. They only serve the Lord. But yogis, they show some miracles. We don't show any miracle. We don't want it. Also I don't know any miracle. But, you see, [just showing his Western disciples, white disciples] these persons, Western people, they are chanting 'hare kṛṣṇa' and dancing. Is it not a miracle? What more miracle you want to see? Can you make them dance? This is the greatest miracle." He said like that. Really, this is the greatest miracle. What a Vaiṣṇava can't do? He can do everything.

One single Vaiṣṇava can deliver the whole universe, he has such potency, So what miracle you want to see? This is a miracle. I left my home, my family members, everything, in 1974. I traveled throughout India in search of a bona fide spiritual master, Vaiṣṇava. I am born here in Orissa. Here, many Vaiṣṇavas, I know them. Many disciples are disciples of Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvati Goswāmi Mahāraja are also here, but I can not get the answer of the quest of my heart. I had an intention that how this message of Sriman Chaitanya Mahāprabhu will spread everywhere. From very childhood, I was attracted towards Śrīman Mahaprabhu. I was born in such a family, I was brought up in such an environment where this saṅkīrtan was going on, Mahāprabhu's saṅkīrtan. From very childhood, I was doing saṅkīrtan, reading Srimad-Bhagavatam. I was very much interested towards it. During my student career, I was not so attentive in my studies. Most of the time, I spent, I used to spend in the saṅkīrtana so I was absent in the school. Anyhow, by the mercy of Śrīman Mahāprabhu, mercy of Krishna, that in spite of my absence and negligence in my studies, I came out successful in the examination. I could not think of how it happened. Then I became a teacher, and started my carrier as a teacher. While I was teaching in schools, secondary schools, I was teaching mathematics, geography, my mother tongue, Oriya, and English. These are my subjects. But I was not satisfied with it, all material education. There was no scope to teach about Krishna. Still, whenever I got the opportunity I would tell about Krishna to my students. In mathematics class, I would also tell about Krishna. I had my headmaster, my boss, he remarked that "You are not teaching the subject." Anyhow, I was always thinking of when I shall quit it. It was very, very painful to me instead of teaching about Krishna, teaching these material things, (a + b)^2(a plus b whole square), like that.
Anyhow, Krishna gave opportunity, I left. I was in quest of a bona fide spiritual master. So I traveled throughout India. I met many karmis, jñānīs, paṇḍits, yogis, Vaiṣṇavas also, discussed with them, but nobody was speaking about Chaitanya Mahāprabhu. Because in this age of Kali, Chaitanya Mahāprabhu's sankirtana-yajña, kalau tat hari-kīrtanat, is the only dharma. So, after finishing my tour, at last I came to Vrindavan. And, I had this feeling that Krishna must bless me there, shower His blessings on me. In that land of Vrindavan, beloved land of Krishna, I might meet my spiritual master. And that so happened. At that time, I had put on the dress of a sādhu though I was not a sādhu, [I was] a wandering sādhu. While passing through Ramana-reti, once in Vrindavan, I found a stone read there, "International Society for Krishna Consciousness -Founder Acharya His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad Mahārāja," written. I thought of, let me go and see what was going on there. So I entered into that ashram. It was under construction at that time, only a few huts were there. The temple was not constructed, just the beginning stage. Only there was one pukka house, Srila Prabhupad's personal? Fortunately, Srila Prabhupad was there. I saw many Western Vaiṣṇavas, shaven head with śikhā, mālā, neck beads, chanting 'hare kṛṣṇa'. I enquired whether Srila Prabhupad, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami was there. Fortunately, he was there. Then I wanted to see him so one of the disciples told me to meet his secretary, they will make arrangement. At that time, Brahmānanda Swami was secretary. I met him and he said, "Why do you want to meet Srila Prabhupad?" I said "Yes, I want to meet him, a mahātma, great Vaiṣṇava, sādhu. His darśana is very, very auspicious; and I have a few, just a few words to speak. Please have mercy on me, make arrangements."
That time was just past twelve, midday. Prabhupad had already taken his prasāda. He was sitting in his room on a chair. So Brahmānanda Swami went inside the room and told Prabhupad that one sādhu had come and wanted to see you. Prabhupad at once said, "All right, tell him to come." So I went inside, paid my obeisances, full prostration, and from the first sight, first darśana, I could understand that this mahātma is really a paramahaṁsa, maha-bhagavata; he is really the representative of Mahaprabhu. I could feel so. It was my heart's attraction, natural attraction.
So, then he asked me, "Who are you? What is your name?" Few questions. "What do you want?" I told, answered those questions and he asked me. I told you that I had put on sādhu's dress but I was not a sādhu. He told me, "Have you taken sannyāsa? I said, "No." He said, "I will give you sannyāsa."
From his side he said so I could understand that he knows my heart, he is really caitya-guru who is in the heart. With that purpose, I had left my home. At that time, I was speaking Hindi because I had spent much time in the Himalayas where people are speaking Hindi. When Prabhupad said, "Well, you are speaking nice Hindi, can you write my books in Hindi?" I said, "Yes, Prabhupad. My mother tongue is not Hindi, still I must write." He ordered Brahmananda, "Give him one book, give him paper, pencil, pen. etc., everything. Let him translate in Hindi "
So within half an hour to forty-five minutes I translated some portion from Prabhupad's article from BTG, Back to Godhead. Immediately I wanted to show it to Prabhupad. I was allowed also. Prabhupad said, "All right, read it out. "I read it out. Prabhupad appreciated very much. Then he ordered Brahmānanda, "Give him a room, give him all, everything, paper, pen, table, what is needed. He will translate my books in Hindi." So I was provided a special room and everything, whereas the other devotees were not provided with room because no room was there, huts. So many, some of them became envious, "Who is this guy? He just came and was provided with a room?" Anyhow, it was Prabhupad's mercy. I started my translation in Hindi. I had translated that book in Hindi 'Perfection of Yoga'. That was already printed in Hindi. Then Prabhupad left Vrindavan, went to Delhi. From Delhi he went to Calcutta. From Calcutta he went to Mayapur. I was in Vrindavan translating his books. But while I left my family, I told them, they were just lamenting, crying, I said, "Don't lament, don't cry. I will be in Orissa. You will see me. I will never go anywhere else out of sight." Then Prabhupad wrote me a letter from Mayapur to Vrindavan. You know Dhananjaya Das is now in England? He came here, a few days back he was here. That Dhananjaya dās came with a letter; he handed me that letter. Prabhupad had written, "A piece of land has been available in Bhubaneswar, Orissa. I want a nice center will be developed there under your leadership. If you agree, please come to Mayapur. We will talk."
I was very much delighted getting that letter because I thought how Krishna and Mahaprabhu are so merciful that they are going to fulfill my desire, to bless me in Orissa, land has already been available. I went to Mayapur. There, Prabhupad accepted me as his initiated disciple. He gave me initiation and gave my name: 'Gour Govind dās'.
This land has been donated by Mrs. Chabbi Kanungo, her husband Vijayananda Kanungo. They live in Calcutta, they are Life Members. Many times, I had asked Prabhupad, "Dear Srila Prabhupad, this society is an international society but how is it that in Orissa nobody knows its name? It is spread everywhere, but why is it not spread in Orissa?" Prabhupad remained silent, he didn't give me any answer. I thought what is the mystery behind it? Why Prabhupad is not answering my question? Anyhow, that day my question was answered when I met Vijayananda Kanungo, the donor.
He told that Prabhupad didn't want to go Orissa because his white disciples, Western disciples, were not allowed to enter into Jagannath temple, the paṇḍās were creating troubles so Prabhupad had developed a mood not to come to Orissa.
Because he was so dear to Śrīman Mahāprabhu, preaching His message, vani throughout the world, fulfilling Mahāprabhu's desire, such a dear place of Mahāprabhu, Jagannath Puri, that his disciples were not allowed, he had developed this mood of sulkiness. You know sulkiness? So he was in search of a person who could break this. When he found me, he gave that responsibility to me. On that very day, in Mayapur, he told me, "Gour Govind, you will take me to Orissa" in his room after initiation. He also told Vijayananda Kanungo and his wife Mrs. Chabbi Kanungo, "I am sending my disciple Gour Govind to Orissa. You help him. Show him your land, he will develop it." Just he told them. Vijayananda Kanungo told me that when they requested Prabhupad to open a center in Jagannath Puri, Prabhupad said, "No. I won't go to Orissa, especially to Puri because my disciples were ill-treated."
So, Vijayananda Kanungo said, "All right, we have a piece of land in Bhubaneswar. That is the capital city of Orissa. We want to donate that land to you. If you may please, accept we will donate it" and Prabhupad agreed. Then he wrote me a letter. I came down from Vrindavan to Mayapura. Then Prabhupad ordered me to come here and develop it. That means he was in search of a person who would take him to Orissa. So he told me, "You will take me to Orissa, Gour Govind." I was thinking at that time, I did not say anything. He was saying, what shall I say? "Yes, that should be carried out, spiritual master's order, without grumbling, no argument." I was thinking how Prabhupad was showering mercy now, he will go to Orissa.
I was just a new comer at that time in ISKCON. Still he bestowed so much responsibility on me. I had full faith in my spiritual master and Krishna. 'Well, all right, in Bhagavad-gītā, Krishna has said to Arjuna,
nimitta-mātraṁ bhava savya-sācin
Bg 11.33
"Just become an instrument in my hand. Don't fear." So that thing came to my mind, Oh, what shall we do? We have no power; we are powerless. It is Krishna and his representative, Gurudeva, they will act through the servant.' I had this belief.
So at that time, he sent Bhagavat Das, one American devotee. You know him? That big one. He came with me here. We came. At that time, it was a jungle, an out-of-the-way place. It was not developed. When Bhagavat Das came here and saw this place, he said, "Gour Govind, we can't stay here. It is jungle. In broad daylight, people will kill us here. Nobody will help us. Let us go back." I said, "How is it? Prabhupad has ordered and how do you say so? You are an old devotee." Then I told him, "All right, you may go back but I won't go. I will stay here." At that time, I was a brahmacari. Prabhupad had not given me sannyasa. But Bhagavat das told me, "No. Brahmacari cannot stay alone. I won't allow you to stay alone." So he compelled me to go back. At that time at Hyderabad, a great festival was going on. Prabhupad was there. We went to Hyderabad. Special buggy was running from Howrah to Hyderabad, so I just got into that buggy, train, and went to Hyderabad. I met Srila Prabhupad and told everything, and how this Bhagavat das compelled me, but I had no desire to come back. Then I requested Prabhupada to give me sannyāsa, because Bhagavat das was threatening me 'brahmacari cannot stay alone'. If I had been a sannyāsī, he wouldn't have threatened me, I could have stayed alone. Then Prabhupad said, "All right, in Vrindavan, coming Ramanavami day, we are going to open that temple. I will give you sannyasa there. Are you going there?" I said, "Yes, Prabhupad, I must go." So that happened. He gave me sannyasa on that occasion, the opening of Krishna-Balarāma Mandir in Vrindavan; and this is Krishna-Balarāma Mandir. I am posted here. So, after taking sannyasa, I was thinking how to come here to Orissa. First time I came with that Bhagavat, [then] went back. Then after taking sannyāsa, I was in Hyderabad. From Hyderabad, I came during Ratha-yatra day with a group of devotees to preach in Puri and saw this place. But I couldn't stay because I was in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad president called me so I went back. Two times, and last time, the third time I came and stayed here. Then I went to Vrindavan, asked Prabhupad, told everything about Bhubaneswar. Then Prabhupad told me, "All right, now you go to Bhubaneswar and open the center." I asked Prabhupad, "All right, I will go. Will you kindly give me some money, some books, some devotees?" Prabhupad said, "No, nothing will be given. No money, no devotee, no books." Then he narrated his story, "My Guru Mahāraja told me to go to the Western world to preach Krishna consciousness. [it was] Quite a foreign land for me. There were none of my friends, nobody, so I went to carry out the order of my spiritual master. Orissa is your motherland. Why are you afraid? Vaiṣṇava is not alone. Krishna is with him always."
He told me. I thought of, "My Guru Maharaja is a Vaiṣṇava, I am not a Vaiṣṇava. How Krishna is with me? He sees Krishna everywhere, so he says. All right, Guru Maharaja said 'Krishna is there'. I have full faith in his words. So I came alone putting full faith in the words of my Guru. "Yes, Krishna is there. My Guru Maharaja said. Definitely Krishna is there."
Anyhow, by the causeless mercy of Śrīla Prabhupad, I came here, erected that hut. Still I was living there. Prabhupad stayed there sixteen days, nothing was here. I then applied for this electric light, and one water pipe. Anyhow, I collected some money which was completely exhausted on erecting that hut, nothing left with me. Then I thought of digging a well. People said some one thousand, or more than one thousand, one and half thousand rupees required.
Oh, how can I do it? There is nothing, not a pai (coin) with me. Everything was exhausted in erecting that cottage. Then one person said, 'Alright, you apply for the water pipe.' So I applied for a water pipe. Anyhow, by the grace of Krishna, it was sanctioned and I got the pipe, twenty-four hour water supply. This much I arranged and applied for electricity. Then I wrote a letter to Prabhupad, "Now I have done this thing according to your instruction. When will you be coming to Orissa?" At that time, Prabhupad was in Hyderabad so I went there. Prabhupad had written me a letter:
"I want to build a temple in Bhubaneswar just like the Jagannath Puri temple." Because his disciples were ill-treated, Jagannath will come and stay here. Come with a plan and estimate. He wrote to me. I am not an engineer. I don't know these things so I approached some engineers. I had one friend at that time and I requested him, "Please, I am going to Hyderabad. My Guru Mahārāja has written this thing. Will you please give me a plan and estimate of Jagannath Puri temple, we, will build here."
"Oh, huge, Herculean task! How do you say that within one day I can do it? And you are going the next day?"
"You are such a great engineer. You can't do it? Please do it."
Anyhow he gave a rough estimate, some crores of rupees, drew a picture, like that.
I went with that and showed it to Prabhupad there in Hyderabad, he said
"Oh, such huge amount of money, crores of rupees!"
"Oh yes, you want to build a temple just like the Jagannath temple."
Prabhupada said, "All right."
Then I came back here and requested Prabhupad, "All right, when will you be coming?" He said, "I am going to Kumbha Mela." That year in 1977 a great Kumbha. Once in twelve years it comes. So in 1977 it came. This year, 1989, it came, great Kumbha. Prabhupad said, "I am going to Kumbha Mela. You come to Kumbha Mela. From Kumbha Mela, we will go to Orissa. You just bring electric light for me, nothing else. For Dictaphone it is required."
I said that I had already applied, and soon we would get it. Then I came back here, arranged everything for electricity. It was granted. Electricity came and the water came. Then I went to Kumbha Mela. Then from Kumbha' Mela we. came here. In same train, we came to Calcutta. From Calcutta then Prabhupad came here. I came just one day ahead in Prabhupad's car. Bhavānanda came with me, and one or two devotees came. Nothing was here. It was jungle. Only that one hut. Two or three tents were pitched. People, devotees will stay there. It was month of January, winter. I was thinking, Prabhupad is coming means many devotees will come, Western devotees will come, men and women, and thousands of people will gather here. How can I accommodate? How can I feed them? I have no money. Anyhow, it's Prabhupad's mercy, Mahāprabhu's mercy. I can't burden my head, finish. Prabhupad has given his willingness to come, he must come. So he came by train. The next day we went to the railway station with kīrtana to greet him. Then we came here by car. Prabhupad stayed there in that house, very humble, who was staying in very palatial buildings, but he stayed there. I told Prabhupad, "I have arranged a nice guesthouse, State Guest House. Please stay there." "No, no, no, I will stay here. I won't stay there." He stayed. He is so humble. He is a Vaiṣṇava. The Goswamis were staying under the trees in Vrindavan, so he stayed here. Every day hundreds of people were coming here to listen to him. Every day we had program here. He told me, "Gour Govind, whoever comes, they must be fed. Nobody will go unfed. I will see the cooking, make Khichdi, at least give khichdi. That cooking pot should always be full. I will see."
"Oh, yes, Prabhupad, that must be done." But I have no money. What to do? Anyhow, Prabhupad has said it must be done. Miraculously, how money came, and everything done nicely, I could not think of. Every morning, the devotee who was in charge of this cooking, things purchasing, "Mahārāja, give money! Give money!" "All right, all right, I will give you." Anyhow, money was coming. Everything went nicely for sixteen days… A big festival was arranged, and one Gupta is there in Bhubaneswar, big man. He came up, he arranged everything for the festival, sayana, decoration, feast, everything.
Previously, Prabhupad had come to Orissa and the Orissan cooking is very good. Prabhupad said, "All right, you please arrange a good Brahmin who will cook nice food. Orissa's cooking is very nice." Prabhupad wanted to taste it. Prabhupad was very fond of that mochha ghanta and that kathal, jackfruit, unripe jackfruit kathal; moccha ghanta, the plantain flower. Mahāprabhu was very fond of, Krishna was very fond of and Prabhupad was very fond of. We arranged that Oriya cook. Still Prabhupad had his own cook. Palika dāsi was cooking also, Western disciple Palika. Anyhow, Prabhupad didn't feel any inconvenience here though there were so many inconveniences, so many. He laid down the corner stone. At that time, Gargamuni and Gurukripa and a few others, they objected to open center here because it was an out of the way place. They told Prabhupad, "Why shall we spend money here? Better to open a center in Puri." Prabhupad was not willing. He just told them, "All right, you get out." He called me to his room. He drove everybody out. Every word of his was taped, always tape recorder was on, but his secretary, his leading disciples, he drove them out one and all, "Get out."
He just called me in to his room and told me in a whispering voice,
"Gour Govind, they are objecting to open a center here. They want it at Puri. But I said 'No'! I want to open a center here. This will be one of the best ISKCON temples in the world." He said to me like that.
"And this place will be the heart of the city", and just indicating his foreign disciples he said, "These people have problems, they can't stay here. You will stay here, you will do. You will see that this project is done."
So he put this responsibility on my head. "These people will come and go but they will help you. Cooperate and tolerate." He just told me, "Cooperate and tolerate." "Yes, I must do as you say." That is the asset. I will see. He also told some other things, some confidential. Anyhow that is the asset within my heart: It is recorded in my heart. No tape was taping. And he said these deities will be on three altars: Krishna-Balarām in the middle, brass deities. That will be brass deities made in Orissa. Gour-Nitai, brass deities, and Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra, dharu. These three altars should be there. And it is Krishna-Balarām Mandir. He said like that. And some other things also he told me, it is confidential. So he told me, nobody knew. It is recorded in my heart. It is not anywhere, not on any tape.
When Tejas das was here with me he was a good devotee, good collector, collected much money and just helped me a lot in erecting this temple. I told [him] Prabhupad had said this thing, [that] the deities will be made in Orissa. "Brass deities are made in Orissa", he didn't accept my words. "No, no, no, no. When Prabhupad said, at that time, nice deity makers were there. Now they are dead. They are dead. No nice deity maker is here now. I will do it in Vrindavan." "But Prabhupad said that it will be done in Orissa. Why don't you accept it as it is?" But he was not prepared to accept. But I was firm, "No! Prabhupad told me. If you won't do but I will do. If you won't allow those deities to be established in this temple, I will erect a separate temple and establish deities. I must fulfill the words of my Guru Mahārāja." You understand?
Anyhow, thereby he committed offence disobeying Prabhupad so he couldn't stay here. Subsequently, the circumstances were so that he couldn't stay here. He left.
Now we have already built Krishna-Balaram temple here in Orissa, brass, very big. Already Jagannath, very big deities are here, already came. Gaur-Nitai deities we will build now, will make now in Orissa. It is a question of laksmi. As soon as we get laksmi then work will be quicker. But funds stopped.
Anyhow, Prabhupad is sending you, people, to me to help me in the project. We cannot get enough money in Orissa as it's a poor state. Prabhupad had one arrangement at that time that he told me that thing, "Gour Govind, I will aive 50%, you will give 50%, matching grant." First, he gave 50,000 rupees. I deposited it in PNB, Punjab National Bank. Then he told, "You fill in, whatever you give, [if] you give 50% I will give 50% matching." But as soon as Prabhupad disappeared it stopped. The grant would come from this MVT, Mayapur Vrndavana Trust. But the people, the devotees who were handling that, they didn't listen to me. "No, no, no. If we'll give such money then the fund will be exhausted. You take loan." "But I can't take loan. I have no money. How can I pay it back? Prabhupad has said so." "No, no, no." That Tejas das took some loan, some two lakhs of rupees or like that. He was collecting and he could have paid it back. But he is now no longer here. But they were just calculating. It is compound interest - two lakhs, now ten lakhs. "How can I pay it back? I can't pay it back, I have no money. I said, "Rather you pay money. Anyhow, you go on calculating, I can't pay it. I have no money. I need money. You help me."
This is, you see. Anyhow;
I am not getting any help from that fund. Srila Prabhupad is sending now these Western disciples to me, they are helping me. Prabhupad had said, "These people will help you. Co-operate and tolerate." And I was doing that thing. These Western devotees have many problems. I had to tolerate it. Prabhupad had told me and I was doing that thing. That Bhagavat das, Tejyas das, I had tolerated very much, always remembering what my Guru Maharaja had said, "tolerate, tolerate, cooperate." I said, "All right you put a thunderbolt on my head, I will tolerate." And I was doing that thing.
Anyhow, by his mercy, now it is getting up, growing, and his desires should be fulfilled. When a pure devotee of Krishna desires, it must be fulfilled, soon or later. So you should help then get Prabhupad's mercy. That much. Then I will speak something in Oriya. Alright?
...his last founded project, you see. Two times, I had been to Vrindavan when he was bedridden. Just before, four days back, he was leaving this material world I was there. He was asking me, "Gour Govind, is there any development in Bhubaneswar? How is Bhubaneswar?" He told me, "How is the climate in Bhubaneswar?"
"Bhubaneswar climate is very good." He said, "I want to go there." But he was so bedridden. So all leading disciples said, "Don't, don't, don't, don't take Prabhupad in this state." So I couldn't. But he said, "I will go." Anyhow. So he was always thinking of Bhubaneswar until his last days. Such is his project, last project. If someone helps here, Prabhupad will be very, very pleased. You understand, Janardana das? He must get his blessings. Bhubaneswar.
