CC Ādi-līlā 9.26-29

mūla-skandhera śākhā āra upaśākhā-gaṇe
lāgilā ye prema-phala, — amṛtake jine

Since Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu was the original trunk, the taste of the fruits that grew on the branches and sub-branches surpassed the taste of nectar.

pākila ye prema-phala amṛta-madhura
vilāya caitanya-mālī, nāhi laya mūla

The fruits ripened and became sweet and nectarean. The gardener, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, distributed them without asking any price.

tri-jagate yata āche dhana-ratnamaṇi
eka-phalera mūlya kari’ tāhā nāhi gaṇi

All the wealth in the three worlds cannot equal the value of one such nectarean fruit of devotional service.

māge vā nā māge keha, pātra vā apātra
ihāra vicāra nāhi jāne, deya mātra

Not considering who asked for it and who did not, nor who was fit and who unfit to receive it, Caitanya Mahāprabhu distributed the fruit of devotional service.

This is the sum and substance of Lord Caitanya’s saṅkīrtana movement. There is no distinction made between those who are fit and those who are not fit to hear or take part in the saṅkīrtana movement. It should therefore be preached without discrimination. The only purpose of the preachers of the saṅkīrtana movement must be to go on preaching without restriction. That is the way in which Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu introduced this saṅkīrtana movement to the world.

So this Caitanya-caritamṛta is a post graduate study. You understand? Those who are students of post-graduate class only they can understand this tattva gaura-tattva. Not an easy affair, not an easy affair, you understand. Śrīman Mahāprabhu, adbhuta-kārunya, adbhuta-audārya, adbhuta-vadānya vigraha. Wonderfully munificent, wonderfully magnaminous, wonderfully merciful incarnation. You understand? Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Here it says that: "Not considering who asked for it and who didn't, nor who is fit and or unfit to receive it. Caitanya Mahāprabhu distributed that fruit, prema phala, fruit of love, loving devotional service, to one and all. Do you understand? He says that thing.

tri-jagate yata āche dhana-ratnamaṇi
eka-phalera mūlya kari’ tāhā nāhi gaṇi

“All the wealth in the three worlds cannot equal the value of one such nectarean fruit of devotional service.” nāma-prema. Do you understand?  The fruits ripened and became sweet and nectarean, the gardener Sri Caitanya Mahāprabhu distributed them without asking any price. Without asking any price, no price. Who can give price? This is said. "All the wealth of the three worlds cannot equal the value of one such fruit."
What price you can give? Have you price?

If you accumulate, collect, all the wealth in three planetary systems, tri-jagatera, three worlds, still you cannot pay the price of one fruit. So who can give? So He distributed freely, distributed freely.

māge vā nā māge keha, pātra vā apātra
ihāra vicāra nāhi jāne, deya mātra

“Not considering who asked for it and who did not, nor who was fit and who unfit to receive it, Caitanya Mahāprabhu distributed the fruit of devotional service to one and all.”
This is the sum and substance of Lord Caitanya's saṅkīrtana movement.

Mahāprabhu, Srīmān Mahāprabhu is Kṛṣṇa Himself, but Kṛṣṇa gave restriction, you understand? Kṛṣṇa gave restriction.
Kṛṣṇa instructed Arjuna in the battlefield of Kurukṣetra, He gave his message in the form of Bhagavad-Gītā. At last, He gave some restriction that,

nābhaktāya nātapaskāya
na ca māṁ yo ’bhyasūyati

Bg 18.67

Don't tell this jñāna, yoga-jñāna I instructed, to a non-devotee. He is not a devotee who has no devotional attitude. And don't tell this thing to a person who has not undergone any tapasyā, apaskāya. Don't tell such a person who dislikes Me, or demons, abhyasūyati, who is envious of Me." He gave such restriction. But when He came as Gaurāṅga, He lifted this restriction. Do you understand?

-  yāre dekha, tāre bala 'kṛṣṇa'-upadesa - no restriction.

"Whomever you meet, you say what Kṛṣṇa has said." Do you understand? Whomever you meet, you say what Kṛṣṇa has said. No restriction in this.

yāre dekha, tāre kaha ‘kṛṣṇa’-upadeśa
āmāra ājñāya guru hañā tāra’ ei deśa

CC Madhya 7.128

He said. "Whomever you meet, you speak what Kṛṣṇa has said and become guru. I give you order, you become guru. Just say what you have heard from the lips of your guru. What Kṛṣṇa has said, just repeat it, just say." No restriction. Do you understand? No restriction. He just wiped out the restriction. So here it is said: 'Indiscriminately without discrimination, He gives the topmost thing the prema, nāma-prema, prema received through chanting this Hare Kṛṣṇa nāma.'

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

He said this thing, you understand? He is so magnanimous. Wonderfully magnanimous, wonderfully munificent, and wonderfully merciful. You understand? But one question is there: Why I cannot develop any attraction towards Caitanya-līlā? This is one question. I am such a great sinful person, aparādhi, I cannot develop any taste, any attraction, any attachment towards Caitanya-līlā. How Śrīmān Caitanya Mahāprabhu will shower His mercy on me? How can I get the mercy of Caitanya Mahāprabhu?' So, the dear devotees of Caitanya Mahāprabhu, they say, one of the names of Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu is Śacīnandana, the son of Śacīmātā. Śacīdevī is the mother of the whole world. It is quite natural, the mother is very very affectionate to her children, to her sons. One may be a bad son, one may be a good son, some may be bad son, but it is not a fact that the mother will be bad. There is no bad mother. Mother has natural affection, love and affection without restriction, without discrimination to all of her children. One may be whether good or bad, whatever he may be, you understand? Caitanya Mahāprabhu is a devotee of Mother - very much affectionate to His mother, devoted to His mother. So He is, that Mahāprabhu bhakta, He is devoted to His mother, Gaurāṅga, so His name is Śacīnandana. So He must shower His mercy unto you. After taking up sannyāsa, when He came to Advaita Ācārya's house in Śantipur, there, Śacīmātā met Him after taking up sannyāsa. So there was this conversation between Śacīmātā and Gaurāṅga. Śacīmātā said, "O Viśvambara," His name is Viśvambara, Caitanya Mahāprabhu's name, "Your elder brother Viśvarūpa left home and took up sannyāsa. You know what distress he gave me, I was so much shocked. You know it, I am such a sinful person, many many lives, there are many many sinful reactions I have. As a result of that, this thing happened to me - my first son, Viśvarūpa, left home, took up sannyāsa and You also did that thing. I am such unfortunate, such a sinful person, most sinful person. This is the result of my sinful activities, reactions of my sinful activities.

Otherwise it would not have taken place. If I would have died just after your father, Your father died, if I would have died just after Your father then it would have been better for me. But I didn't die. I am surviving. Now I am the object of condemnation by all the people here. People have said that: "Śacī is very very unfortunate. Two of her sons left home, took up sannyāsa, old woman crying, very much distressed. They are calling bad names of me. What shall I do? Death is not coming to me so what shall I do? Shall I take poison? Shall I drown myself into Ganges? If I will do that thing then people will also call bad name of me. Nobody will utter my name. I am such a sinful person. If someone will utter my name, all the auspiciousness of that person will be destroyed. So nobody will utter my name. Then drive out this unfortunate woman from Nadiyā. It is better. All the inhabitants of Nadiyā will be speaking like that. O my son, Viśvambara, now say what shall I do?" Then Gaurasundar said, "Mother, mother, please, don't speak like this. It is very painful to hear. But I give you these words: yes it's a fact I left home but wherever I may go or wherever I may stay, you are eternally My mother, I am eternally your son. You are eternally My mother and I am eternally your son. Wherever I may go or wherever I may stay, what is that? I am worshipped by the inhabitants of the three planetary systems and similarly you will also be worshiped by one and all in the three planetary systems. So He gave this word - "If a very very sinful person utters My name as 'Saci-suta', 'Sacinandana', again and again utters, chants this name 'Śacī-suta', Śacīnandana', he will purchase Me. I will be captured by him." Do you understand? Out of jubilation and pleasure if someone does this kirtana of Śrī Śacīnandana, he will become premi, he will develop love towards Kṛṣṇa and he will become very dear to Me. All Vedic knowledge will be revealed to him. Somehow or other anyhow if someone utters this name 'Śacīnandana', he will purchase Me. Not only Me, he will also purchase all My associates. Out of pleasure, jubilation, ecstasy, if someone does this kīrtana, 'Śrī Śacīnandana', he becomes a great devotee, he gets prema. All his education, wealth, whatever he has gotten, becomes perfect. Whoever utters the name of only 'Śacī' or Śacī-putra' or 'Navadvīpa' then it is to be understood that he has studied all the Vedas, Vedantas and received the knowledge of Veda Vedantas. I become very much satisfied with him." So what more you want? Therefore in Kali-yuga, all are great sinful persons, great sinners, no qualification, nothing - karma nāhi, jñana nāhi krsna bhakti nãhi - I have no karma, no jñana, no kṛṣṇa-bhakti, nothing, no qualification. So Mahāprabhu is wonderfully merciful and wonderfully magnanimous, He never considers whether he is a qualified person or whether he is fit or unfit to get it. He gives it freely, indiscriminately, prema. But, you have to receive it. He gives but you are such unfortunate that you cannot receive it. Do you understand? He gives but you cannot receive it. Then what to do? But Mahāprabhu has given these words to His mother so, 'Śacīnandana' if we utter out of jubilation, with pleasure, bhāva, mood, you understand, that mood, mood of devotional mood, mood of service, servitude, then He becomes so much pleased with you He showers His mercy on you in spite of, you see, though you are bereft of all good qualities, good education or anything still, you become so dear to Mahāprabhu. That He has said. Therefore this is the siddhānta, conclusion.

Śrīla Rūpa Goswāmi, according to this siddhānta, has said, uttered. We chanted that verse. What is that verse?
No. Śacīnandana.

anarpita-carīṁ cirāt karuṇayāvatīrṇaḥ kalau
samarpayitum unnatojjvala-rasāṁ sva-bhakti-śriyam
Then next verse,
puraṭa-sundara-dyuti-kadamba-sandīpitaḥ
sadā hṛdaya-kandare sphuratu vaḥ śacī-nandanaḥ

CC Ādi 1.4

Then He says. That is Rūpa Goswāmi says, sada hṛdaya-kandare sphuratu vaḥ śacī-nandanaḥ. "Let that Śacīnandana, Son of Śacīmātā, always reveal Himself in the core of my heart." That is. Therefore Rūpa Goswami used that word 'Śacīnandana', do you understand? Basing on this siddhānta, what Mahāprabhu has said, what Mahāprabhu has said, this siddhānta. This is most important thing. Otherwise we have no qualification to understand this gaura-tattva. This is so, it is post graduate study, you see, very very difficult tattva, confidential tattva. It is not easy thing. General people cannot understand this thing, cannot understand this thing. So, this special characteristic of the name Hare Kṛṣṇa nāma, coming out from the lips, from the heart, core of the heart of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, is special characteristic that because He gives this prema. nāmnaiva prādurāsīd avatarati pare yatra taṁ naumi gauram. Pradhodānanda Sarasvatīpada has said that thing in Caitanya-candrāmṛta.

yan nāptaṁ karma-niṣṭhair na ca samadhigataṁ yat tapo-dhyāna-yogair
vairāgyais tyāga-tattva-stutibhir api na yat tarkitaṁ cāpi kaiścit |
govinda-prema-bhājām api na ca kalitaṁ yad rahasyaṁ svayaṁ tan
nāmnaiva prādurāsīd avatarati pare yatra taṁ naumi gauram ||

I pay my obeisances to that Gaura who gives prema through chanting of this holy name:

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

When Mahāprabhu appeared here in this material world, this prema, this love of Kṛṣṇa, love of Godhead, came, by the appearance of Mahāprabhu here to this world and it came and it is given to us through chanting this holy name. Nobody has given prema. One may, he says:

- karma-niṣṭha tapo dhyāna aṣṭāṅga-yoga -

The yogīs, karma yogīs, jñāna-yogīs, dhyāna-yogīs, aṣṭāṅga-yogīs, they cannot get this prema. Prema is not available through this, through karma-niṣṭha, through tapasyā - penance, through dhanya - meditation, aṣṭāṅga-yoga, mystic yoga. It is not available.

- vairāgyais tava karma tyāga -

Through vairāgya also, detachment; through offering prayers - stava, karma, tyāga as Gītā says, kamarpaṇa - offering fruit of your work to the Lord, prema is not available. It is guḍa-tattva, it is very very confidential tattva this prema-tattva. It is not available, do you understand? But that prema becomes available when Gauracandra appeared here and He gave this prema to one and all indiscriminately through chanting of this holy name:

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

I pay my obeisances to that Gaura. He is so wonderfully merciful, wonderfully magnanimous, and wonderfully munificent. Do you understand? Then another topic is there point is there alright The special characteristic of the holy name coming out of the mouth of Gaurāṅga. That name is pure name which is non-different from Kṛṣṇa

- abhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ -

CC Madhya 17.133

Do you understand? Kṛṣṇa is rasarāja, Kṛṣṇa is prema-dhana svarupa, the form of Kṛṣṇa, the vigraha of Kṛṣṇa. Do you understand, vigraha? Form of Kṛṣṇa, body of Kṛṣṇa, is the body of that prema. He is rasarāja, He is the King of all mellows, rasa-pradātā, the giver of mellows, the reservoir of all mellows, ānanda-līlā-moya vigraha. Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu is ānanda-līlā moya vigraha, do you understand? That, Prabhodānanda Saravastīpada has said that thing:

ānanda-līlā-maya-vigrahāya hemābha-divyac-chavi-sundarāya
tasmai mahā-prema-rasa-pradāya caitanya-candrāya namo namas te

(CB 2.28.200)

We pay obeisance to that Caitanya who is ānanda-līlā-maya-vigrahaya. Vigraha, His form, His body. He is always ecstatic, in transcendental ecstasy, do you understand? The whole body, He is the embodiment of that transcendental ecstasy.

ānanda-līlā-maya-vigrahāya hemābha-divyac-chavi-sundarāya

Hema means gold. His bodily complexion is that of golden, molten gold! divyac-chavi - transcendental beauty is there. It is not material beauty. Mahā-prema-rasa - without discrimination He is offering mahā, great prema, mellow of great prema to one and all. So I pay my obeisances to that Caitanyacandra. This is His special characteristic. That is, Caitanya who is the combination of both Kṛṣṇa and Rādhā, Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, ekī-bhūtaṅga. rasarāja-mahā-bhāva - Kṛṣṇa is rasarāja and Rādhāraṇī is mahābhāva. Two bodies united together, that is Gaurāṅga. "Hare Kṛṣṇa Rama" - these names are coming out from the mouth of Gaurāṅga. It is udgīrṇa. This word is very important and significant word 'udgīrṇa' - as volcano, from volcano. Have you seen a volcano? What is inside it that becomes melted, that becomes melted and that comes out from the mouth of the volcano. Do you understand? We say udgīrṇa. It is like vomiting. What is in your heart, belly, stomach, that will come out through the mouth. That is udgīrṇa, like vomiting. So prema is there inside; nothing else. Only prema is there inside and nothing else. So when chants this

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

that comes out. That prema comes out only through the chanting of this holy name, nothing else. If there is no prema inside, how will it come out? Do you understand?

If there is no prema in you if you chant Hare Kṛṣṇa then how will it come out? If you have no prema, no prīti, you have no prīti, no love so if you chant "Hare Kṛṣṇa" only alphabets will come out but no prema. It will never become prema-nāma. It will become ābhidhānika-nāma - the nāma, the name available in dictionary, bas. that is coming out from your chanting - no prema. Devoid of prema, your chanting of this "Hare Kṛṣṇa' is what? It is the names available in the dictionary. It is not prema-nāma: it is not Name with love because you have no love inside. How it will come out? Do you understand? That is what. The embodiment of love, it is full of Love. Inside only love is there, nothing else. So when He chants,

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

that comes out with love only. It is prema-nāma-sankīrtana. Therefore we say, it is prema-nāma-sankīrtana. It is not mere nāma-sankīrtana, no; it is prema-nāma-sankīrtana. Do you understand? This is most important thing. The ācāryas, Vaiṣṇavas, those who are very dear to Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu, those who know this tattva, they speak like this. This is rādhā-prema, this is gopī-prema, and Mahāprabhu's teaching is also like that.

ārādhyo bhagavān vrajeśa tanaya
tad dhāma śrī vrṇdāvanam
ramyā kācid upāsanā
vrajavadhū vargeṇa vā kalpitā

[Caitanya mañjusā]

vrajavadhū vargeṇa vā kalpitā

That is Mahāprabhu’s.

ārādhyo bhagavān vrajeśa tanaya
tad dhāma śrī vrṇdāvanam
ramyā kācid upāsanā
vrajavadhū vargeṇa vā kalpitā

vrajeśa-tanaya - Kṛṣṇa is ārādhya Nanda-nanda Kṛṣṇa is ārādhya, the son of Nanda Mahārāja, the son of Yaśodāmātā, that means Kiśora-Kṛṣṇa - 10, 11 years -old Kṛṣṇa, mādhurya moya - that Kṛṣṇa is all beautiful Kṛṣṇa, that Kṛṣṇa is to be worshipped. And how is He to be worshipped? ramyā kācid upāsanā vrajavadhū vargeṇa vā kalpitā. Do you understand? As the Vraja vadhus, damsels of Vrajabhūmi worship Kṛṣṇa with love only, with only love, nothing else. So that Kiśora-Kṛṣṇa will be worshipped through love as gopīs headed by Rādhāraṇī offer worship. That is love only. Do you understand? And Mahāprabhu has assumed that gopī-bhāva and rādhā-bhāva, mood of Rādhāraṇī, mood of gopīs, nothing else. Unless we develop such prema, how can we chant that Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra, prema-nāma? How can we do this prema-nāma-sankīrtana? It will be impossible. We cannot do prema-nāma-sankīrtana. So, that prema is such thing, you see. Here it is said by Premānanda Dāsa,

emana gaurāńga vinā nāhi āra
hena avatāra, ha’be ki ha’yeche,
hena prema-paracāra

duramati ati, patita pāṣaṇḍī,
prāṇe nā mārila kā’re
harināma diyā, hṛdaya śodhila,
yāci giyā ghare ghare

bhava-viriñcira, vāñchita je prema,
jagate phelila ḍhāli’
kāńgāle pāiyā, khāila nāciyā,
bājāiyā karatāli

Very dear devotee of Gaurāṅga Mahāprabhu, Premānanda Dāsa. Gaura nija jana, he says:
This avatāra, gaura-avatāra, gaurāṅga-avatāra, is the chief of all avatāras, sāra-avatāra. In the the past no such avatāra was there, in the future, such avatāra will come or not, it is doubtful. Now He has come because He freely gives prema without discrimination.

duramati ati, patita pāṣaṇḍī,
prāṇe nā mārila kā’re
harināma diyā, hṛdaya śodhila,
yāci giyā ghare ghare

Most degraded, most sinful person, most rascal, great pāṣaṇḍī. He didn't kill anybody.
He didn't cut the throat of anybody. He freely gives harinama and kills the demoniac attitude there in their heart, purifies their heart, converts the demons into devotees; offers freely, going to every doorstep. If someone begs or doesnt beg, no matter, He gives freely. Such avatāra.

bhava-viriñcira, vāñchita je prema,
jagate phelila ḍhāli’
kāńgāle pāiyā, khāila nāciyā,
bājāiyā karatāli

Such prema is very, very confidential thing, do you understand? Even it is very difficult on the part of Brahmā and Śiva to get - not easy affair. Still that Gaurasundar, Gaurāṅga, distributed it freely. Here it is said. "Without asking for price, not considering who asked for it and who didn't, nor who was fit and who was unfit to receive it, Caitanya Mahāprabhu distributed this prema-phala, the fruit of loving devotional service, to one and all." Which is very difficult on the part of Brahmā and Śiva to get, He distributed it.

kāńgāle pāiyā, khāila nāciyā,
bājāiyā karatāli

Those who were very really hungry for it, really hungry for this fruit, prema-phala, they got it and they ate it, they danced in ecstasy. Do you understand? They rolled on the ground in ecstasy, and they clapped with their hands and danced in ecstasy.

hāsiyā kādiyā, preme gaḍāgaḍi,
pulake vyāpila ańga
caṇḍāle-brāhmaṇe, kare kolākuli,
kabe vā chila e rańga

Both caṇḍālas and brāhmaṇas, they embraced each other with that prema. Has anybody seen such līlā? Has anybody seen such līlā in any yuga

ḍākiyā-hākiyā, khola-karatāle,
gāiyā-dhāiyā phire
dekhiyā śamana, tarāsa pāiyā,
kapāṭa hānila dvāre

Such. Ecstasy is such that the caṇḍālas, the brāhmaṇas, the most degraded persons, the pāṣaṇḍīs, durmatis, rascals, all are chanting this 'Hare Kṛṣṇa mahamantra with ecstasy, dancing, rolling on the ground, playing khol, kartāla, jumping and shouting, roaring like lions, forgetting themselves. Such sinful persons. So Yamarāja became afraid 'nobody will now come to me.' Then he closed his door 'my door is closed now'.
Out of fear, he closed the door, Yamarāja, because nobody will come. All sinful reactions are finished now, destroyed now. Mahāprabhu did such thing.

e tina bhuvana, ānande bharila,
uṭhila mańgala sora
kahe premānanda, emana gaurāńge,
rati nā janmila mora

The three planetary systems, all the inhabitants of the three planetary systems became ecstatic chanting 'Hare Kṛṣṇa'. How there is this roaring sound of this Hare Kṛṣṇa mahāmantra, transcendental sound vibration filled the whole three planetary systems. This is such Gaurāṅga. So i am such a rascal stupid that i cannot develop taste for it, attachment for it . I am such a rascal.
And why it is so? Then it is said. I have already said. So all the ācāryas

'gaurāńga' bolite habe pulaka-śarīra
'hari hari' bolite nayane ba' be nīra

If someone will chant the name of Gaurāṅga, His whole body will be ecstatic with love because He is Hari Himself but chanting His own name, He sheds tears out of love. That is what, one should understand. So this is gaura-tattva; not easy tattva - it is very confidential tattva. It is rādhā-tattva. In Bhāgavata, Śukadeva Goswami has not mentioned anything about Rādhā, not mentioned. 'anayārādhito', bas. This much he said. Last pañca, five chapters are there in Śrīmad-Bhāgavata tenth canto where Śukadeva Goswami has given some description of rasa dance; five chapters about rasa dance. There only he mentioned Kṛṣṇa left that rasa dance, arena of rasa dance, taking a gopi with Him who worships the best - 'anayārādhito'. This much, nothing else he said about Rādhā. Because nobody can understand it. Those who are paramahaṁsas, only they can understand this rādhā-tattva. But this Bhāgavatam is for general people, general study. It is degree course, do you understand? So one may pass the primary school standard then secondary school standard then come to the university and gets himself admitted into university class. Pre-degree class then degree class, up to that point, bas. So this is Bhāgavata- degree stage. But this Caltanya-caritāmṛta is post-graduate study. It is not for one and all. It is for post-graduate students. Those who pass the degree course then they are eligible to be admitted into post-graduate class. That is Caitanya-caritāmṛta class. It is not an easy thing. Therefore Śrīla Śukadeva Goswāmi doesn't say, doesn't mention anything about Rādhā. He doesn't mention about Rādhā.

Only suggestion. So, very easy process for us here. One thing is needed - you should be very simple, give up your all your crockedness. Become simple, simplicity, and develop full faith. No value is there, you cannat pay the value, you see, price, you cannot pay the price. Here he said.

tri-jagate yata āche dhana-ratnamaṇi
eka-phalera mūlya kari’ tāhā nāhi gaṇi

CC ādi-9.28

“All the wealth in the three worlds cannot equal the value of one such nectarean fruit of devotional service.” What price you can pay? No price. Only one price is required, śraddhā mūlya.

śraddhā-mūlye nām diteche
nitāi ki nām eneche vraja theke
jīvera daśā,  malina dekhe’,
nām eneche braja theke re

lent it? Nityānanda, Nitāi, His appearance day is coming. So, He is very, very merciful. He is more merciful than Gaura. Nitāi is more merciful than Gaura. Gaurāṅga is such merciful, wonderfully merciful, but Nitāi is more merciful than Gaura, yes. That is Nitāi's characteristic.

jīvera daśā, malina dekhe’,
nitāi ki nām vraja theke

Nitāi's heart melted seeing this distressful condition of jivas here in this material world so He brought this name, nectarean name, sweet name,

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

He came, he brought that name from Vrajabhumi, do you understand? Golokera prema dhana. From Goloka, from Vrajabhūmi or Goloka. Golokera prema dhana hari-nāma-sankīrtana It doesn't belong to the material world, it belongs to Goloka, Vrajabhūmi, this harināma. You understand? Sweet, nectarean prema-nāma. All the gopīs chant this name, gopīs headed by Rādhāraṇī, they chant this name. And Mahāprabhu, Gaura-Nitāi, They brought this Name from there. Such rare opportunity, you see.

nitāi ki nām eneche vraja theke
jīvera daśā,  malina dekhe’,
nitāi nām eneche braja theke re

Nitāi is so merciful, more merciful than Gaurāṅga, much more merciful. His heart melts seeing the distressful conditions here in this material world of the jīvas, condition of the jīvas. He brought this name, holy name, such ripe, nectarean, sweet, sweet, nectarean name,

Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa
Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare
Hare Rāma Hare Rāma
Rāma Rāma Hare Hare

and set up sama-haṭṭa, a marketplace where this sweet, nectarean, ripened, sweet, nectarcan fruit of prema, nāma-prema, is purchased and sold. What is the price?
You cannot pay the price. tri-bhuvana, it is said. Even one fruit, the price of one fruit - "All wealth in the three worlds cannot equal the value of one such fruit." So how can you pay the price? There is only one price śraddhā mulya nām diteche - only śraddhā, faith, faith. Śraddhā means faith, unflinching faith - no doubt, no tinge of doubt is there - strong faith, unflinching faith. One who has strong faith in the holy name, unflinching faith in the hoy name, he is the only person who can purchase this fruit, prema-nāma. Otherwise, though Mahāprabhu gives freely still, you cannot receive it. Why? Because you have no śraddhā, no faith in it. This is the only price, no other price is there. Because you cannot give price, material price. If you accumulate all the wealth available in the three planetary systems, dhana, ratna, mani. the gold, gems, diamond, whatever valuable, If you accumulate still we cannot pay the price for one fruit. Such invaluable. Only this price is required: śraddhā mūlya - unflinching faith, strong faith, no tinge of doubt is there, śraddhā mūlya nam diteche.
Nitāi gives this name to that person who can pay this price: śraddhāśraddhāvan jane koro nāma upadeśa Mahāprabhu's instruction.

śraddhāvan jane koro nāma upadeśa
nāma-maya mayī purṇa koro ei deśa

"Give this nāma-upadeśa, give this holy name to that person who has unflinching faith in it. No other discrimination, no other discrimination. Only this, this is there. Give him freely, give him freely and fill the whole universe! Fill the whole universe, the atmosphere of the whole universe with this nāma-prema." Fill it, fill it! That Mahāprabhu says this thing and Mahāprabhu's desire is that. That is Mahāprabhu's desire. Only one thing is required. And one who is very simple hearted person, no duplicity he has, no duplicity, no politics, no crookedness, simple - ‘as simple as a child’. Only he can develop such faith. Only he will develop faith very easily, quickly, immediately. Do you understand? And he gets it. He gets the mercy of Gaura-Nitāi. They are offering, They are distributing freely this prema, and he gets. Such a person gets who is free from duplicity, crookedness, who is as simple as a child. He develops unflinching faith immediately, he gets it. Otherwise, though they give freely, still, one cannot get it, receive it if he is not a simple hearted person who has no faith. You understand? This is the only thing, only reason, only reason, do you understand? Yes. Otherwise & is very difficult thing, very very difficult. Very, very confidential tattva, this prema-tattva. And this one thing is needed.
