Gurudev!
kṛpā-bindu diyā, koro' ei dāse,
tṛṇāpekhā ati hīna
sakala sahane, bala diyā koro',
nija-māne spṛhā-hīna
O Gurudeva! Give me a drop of mercy and make this servant more humble than a blade of grass. Give me the strength to tolerate everything and make me free from my vanity.
sakale sammāna korite śakati,
deho' nātha! jathājatha
tabe to' gāibo, hari-nāma-sukhe,
aparādha ha 'be hata
Give me the power, O master, to honor all living entities according to their due. Then I shall sing the holy names of Śrī Hari blissfully, and my offenses will be vanquished
kabe heno kṛpā, labhiyā e jana,
kṛtārtha hoibe, nātha!
śakti-buddhi-hīna, āmi ati dīna,
koro' more ātma-sātha
When will this person receive such mercy and be successful in life, O Master? I am devoid of strength and intelligence and am extremely fallen. Kindly take my soul and make me your own.
Gurudev!
kṛpā-bindu diyā, koro' ei dāse,
tṛṇāpekhā ati hīna
sakala sahane, bala diyā koro',
nija-māne spṛhā-hīna
O Gurudeva! Give me a drop of mercy and make this servant more humble than a blade of grass. Give me the strength to tolerate everything and make me free from my vanity.
jogyatā-vicāre, kichu nāhi pāi,
tomāra karuṇā-sāra
karuṇā nā hoile, kāndiyā kāndiyā,
prāṇa nā rākhibo āra
If I consider my qualification, I find nothing of value; your mercy is the essence of my existence. If you are not merciful, then, weeping and weeping, I will no longer maintain my life.
Gurudev!
kṛpā-bindu diyā, koro' ei dāse,
tṛṇāpekhā ati hīna
sakala sahane, bala diyā koro',
nija-māne spṛhā-hīna
O Gurudeva! Give me a drop of mercy and make this servant more humble than a blade of grass. Give me the strength to tolerate everything and make me free from my vanity.

Prabhupādaji Mahārāja ki jaya!
Śrīla Prabhupad Mahārāja ki śubha āvirbhāva-tithi ki jaya!
Yesterday we observed the holy Appearance Day of Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa the Supreme Personality of Godhead. And today we are observing the holy appearance day of our revered spiritual master Śrī Śrīmad A. C. Bhativedanta Swami Prabhupadji Mahārājankara, Mahārāja's holy appearance day. Krishna sent His own man, very dear devotee, very intimate devotee Śrī Śrīmad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupadji Mahārāja to this world, just after His appearance day. When Nanda Mahārāja is observing a great festival for the appearance day of his beloved son, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, that very day His very dear devotee, His own man, very intimate devotee, has appeared. Such, you can understand why a Vaiṣṇava comes here. What is the necessity for Vaiṣṇavas for coming here? Sādhu-Vaiṣṇava, Kṛṣṇa's own men, they are always with Kṛṣṇa in that sac-cid-ānanda-maya dhām. But those who have gotten Kṛṣṇa they see kṛṣṇa-sambandha, the only relationship of Kṛṣṇa Everybody, everything, every object is related to Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa is the only relationship kṛṣṇa-nitya-sambandha - eternal relationship. We have a perfect, eternal, loving relationship with Kṛṣṇa. Everybody has, every jīva has. A complete Kṛṣṇa conscious person he sees it, he has such vision. Kṛṣṇa is his most beloved. Kṛṣṇa is the object of love. Kṛṣṇa prananatha - Kṛṣṇa is the Lord of the heart. Such a premi-bhakta, Vaiṣṇava sees this thing and he sees everything in relation to Kṛṣṇa. Everything, everybody, every jīva is related to Kṛṣṇa. How can he tolerate Kṛṣṇa's jiva will suffer? Kṛṣṇa who is my object of love, Kṛṣṇa who is my most beloved - he cannot tolerate it. His heart bleeds seeing the suffering of jīvas, those who are related to Kṛṣṇa. Because of their forgetfulness of Kṛṣṇa, because they are bereft of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, they are suffering. This is the only cause. He knows the cause very well. If Kṛṣṇa consciousness will be inculcated into them, they will develop Kṛṣṇa consciousness, develop their lost consciousness, become completely Kṛṣṇa conscious - no more suffering - there will be no more suffering they will go back home to Godhead.

evaṁ yo vetti tattvataḥ
tyaktvā dehaṁ punar janma

BG 4.9
In Gītā Kṛṣṇa has said: “My appearance, My birth, My activities, līlās, are not material, they are transcendental. One who knows it in tattva, that will be his last birth here in this material world.”
tyaktvā dehaṁ punar janma
naiti mām eti so ’rjuna
BG 4.9
"After quitting his body, he will go back home back to Godhead, definitely. There is no doubt, he will go to Me. No punar janma, no rebirth." He will never come back here again to this material world, prapañca, duḥkhālaya, miserable platform - no more, finished. This is the only thing required: to inculcate Kṛṣṇa consciousness thereby they will be free from their suffering. They have been revolving in the circle of birth and death from time immemorial, transmigrating from one body to another in lakhs of species. How their suffering will be done away with? A Vaiṣṇava knows. Kṛṣṇa's dear devotee knows this thing. He has that vision. He sees and therefore he comes here, he wanders here.

ŚB 3.5.3
Bhagāvata says. You have forgotten Kṛṣṇa. According to your prarabdha-karma you have forgotten Kṛṣṇa and you are wandering here in lakhs, lakhs of species of life suffering, suffering, suffering, afflicted with three tāpas. Kṛṣṇa's own man, very intimate person, His dear devotee comes here, wanders here in this material platform just to shower his mercy on the suffering jīvas and to inculcate Kṛṣṇa consciousness thereby there will be no suffering at all. For this purpose they come and wander here. They are always there. If there would not have been sun and moon here, how this world would go on? Similarly, if there would not have been such dear devotees of Kṛṣṇa, sādhu, how Kṛṣṇa's world will go on? They are always there. We have no vision. We have no vision to see them. We are devoid of that vision therefore we cannot see them, the sādhus. You cannot see sādhu through your material eye, vision. No. They are not material beings. How can you see them? How can you see Lord Kṛṣṇa? You cannot see them with your material eye.
premāñjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena
Śrī Brahma-saṁhitā 5.38
If you are endowed with bhakti-cakṣu, the devotional eye, if the ointment of love is smeared on your eyes then you can see the Lord, how He is there.
yāṅhā netra paḍe tāṅhā kṛṣṇa sphure
CC Ādi 4.85
Wherever you look you see Kṛṣṇa, “Yes, Kṛṣṇa is there.” Similarly, how can you see His dear devotee, sādhu, Vaiṣṇava, Mahājana? He is not material a material being. With your material eye you cannot see. They give the eye, yes, they give.
oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya
jñānāñjana-śalākayā
cakṣur unmīlitaṁ yena
tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ
That guru, sādhu, mahājana, he opens the eye. Through that eye, you can see sādhu, you can see Kṛṣṇa's dear devotee. If you are endowed with that eye or vision then you can see. Otherwise how can you see? You cannot see with this eye, material eye. You think you are the seer. That is completely wrong. You are not the seer. They are seers. You are to be seen. But you put it in the reverse way “I am the seer, they are to be seen.” No. That is not a fact. You are not seer. They are seers. Kṛṣṇa is seer. His dear devotee, sādhu-mahājana, he is seer you are to be seen. It they cast their merciful glance on you, your bad fortune is gone - good fortune arises. Yes. If they give eye, with that eye you can see. Otherwise how can you see? So, my revered spiritual master is such a Vaiṣṇava sādhu. Kṛṣṇa has sent him and he is especially empowered by Kṛṣṇa.
kṛṣṇa-śakti vinā nahe tāra pravartana
CC Antya 7.11
It is said: without kṛṣṇa-śakti, it cannot be done. Who can inculcate Kṛṣṇa consciousness unto these conditioned souls? Especially, I was saying that thing, his guru ordered, ‘go to Western world and preach the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness in the English language.’ Western world means gross materialists are there. They have no Kṛṣṇa consciousness, no God consciousness at all. So who can inculcate Kṛṣṇa consciousness unto them? Completely impossible.
kṛṣṇa-śakti vinā nahe tāra pravartana
CC Antya 7.11
Unless one is empowered by kṛṣṇa-śakti, becomes śakti puṣṭa-parikara, that is guru-tattva. Who is guru, sad-guru, śrī-guru, pure Vaiṣṇava sādhu-mahājana is kṛṣṇa-śakti puṣṭa-parikara. He is Kṛṣṇa's associate, eternal associate. He is nourished by kṛṣṇa-śakti he is empowered by kṛṣṇa-śakti kṛṣṇa-śakti puṣṭa-parikara.
kṛṣṇa-śakti vinā nahe tāra pravartana
CC Antya 7.11
It is said, without kṛṣṇa-śakti nobody can do it by his physical strength, his own strength. No. Impossible. You can't do it - impossible.
So it is definite that there is no doubt in it that Śrīla Prabhupada was empowered by Kṛṣṇa, empowered by Mahāprabhu. He had gotten full mercy of Kṛṣṇa, Mahāprabhu, previous ācāryas, Bhaktivinode Ṭhakura, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, all sādhu-mahājanas, full power. He was empowered therefore he could do it. In a very short time, at the fag end of life, who could go to Western world? He went to the Western world at the fag end of his life. Old man, all are afraid, “Where shall I go? Completely strange land. I am a stranger. I am not known there. My friends are not there. Who will take care of me?” All are afraid. Who will go? Nobody will go. But he went there to carry out the order of his guru and to fullfil the desire of Mahāprabhu
pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi-grāma
sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nāma
CB Antya-khanda 4.126
That was Mahāprabhu's mano 'bhista - Mahāprabhu's desire, Mahāprabhu's prophecy. “My name will be preached, My teachings will spread throughout the world, all corners, nagarādi-grām - in all cities, towns, villages, all nook and corners of the world. Yes. Who did it? Who fulfilled the desire of Mahaprabhu? Who fulfilled the desire of the previous ācāryas? That is my dear guru-pāda padma, my most revered spiritual master Śrī Śrīmad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupadji Mahārāja who did it fearlessly. And he was such empowered, otherwise nobody could have done so. In a very short time, within ten years, he traveled to all corners of the world fifteen times to preached the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. As a result you see these Westerners, gross materialists, how they have developed Kṛṣṇa consciousness, how they have realized that they are kṛṣṇa-dāsa, how they have developed Kṛṣṇa consciousness Now they are preaching, speaking about Kṛṣṇa, they are engaged in the loving service of Kṛṣṇa. How they have done so? This is clear proof.

ŚB 10.8.4
O Lord, these materialist persons, very much attached to home and hearth, their consciousness is very, very low degraded consciousness therefore they have been suffering. O Lord, but You are so merciful You send Your own men in the material world. The sādhu-mahājanas, they go to the doorstep of such a gṛhī, such a householder who is too much attached to home and hearth completely bereft of Kṛṣṇa consciousness in order to inculcate Kṛṣṇa consciousness unto him. No other purpose is there, no other purpose. This is his mercy.
mahānta-svabhāva ei tārite pāmara

CC Madhya 8.39
It is the nature of a mahātmā. He has no business to go to the doorstep of a materialistic person who is too attached to his household and saying 'I' and 'mine'- 'My home, hearth, my wife, son, family'. Why he goes? He has no other business just to inculcate Kṛṣṇa consciousness and to deliver them. This is the only purpose.

Padma Purāṇa: 6.229.58-59; cited in Hari-bhakti-vilāsa: 10.169–170; Prīti Sandarbha: 16, 45; Krama-sandarbha-ṭīkā and Sārārtha-darśinī-ṭīkā on Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 4.9.29 Vaiṣṇava has no birth, no karma-bandhana, he is not a conditioned soul. No bondage of karma is there. He is a dear devotee of Kṛṣṇa or Viṣṇu. Therefore a Vaiṣṇava is free from karma-bandhana, he is free from the bondage of karma and he has no birth. And he appears and disappears as Kṛṣṇa appears and disappears. Baddha-jīvas, they take birth. Yes. At the time of birth, they will stay in the womb of a mother, māta kukṣi, duḥkha is a miserly, very painful situation. Yes. But a Vaiṣṇava doesn't have so though apparently he comes, accepting father and mother he will come. When Kṛṣṇa appears also He is accepting father and mother. Vaiṣṇava appears here accepting father and mother. He comes in the womb of a mother but He doesn't get such pain there. All others, they get pain. Janma is not a duḥkha, is not a misery, for him; he never gets pain. But others get pain. Yes, that's a fact. So therefore he has no karma, no karma-bandhana, no janma, no birth, no bondage of karma. He is free from it. This is a Vaiṣṇava, sādhu, mahājana.
bhagavān āvirbhāva tithi ye heno pavitra vaiṣṇavara prati se heno pavitra
It is said: The appearance day of Bhagavān is all-auspicious, yes, all-auspicious. Similarly, the appearance day of a Vaiṣṇava, a very dear devotee of Kṛṣṇa, is all auspicious, as auspicious as the appearance day of Kṛṣṇa. Do you understand? Moreover, Bhagavān, He is very very merciful - parama doāl. But His dear devotee sādhu, Vaiṣṇava is more merciful than Bhagavān. He is more merciful than Bhagavān. Yes, that's a fact.

ekale īśvara kṛṣṇa, āra saba bhṛtya
CC Ādi 5.142
Kṛṣṇa is parameśvara, all are, all others everybody else, all are His servants. He is asamardha-tattva, nobody will be equal to Him, nobody will be superior to Him. But,

BG 18.66
"Abandoning all varieties of dharma, just surrender unto Me" if you carry out, if you can understand this instruction, most concluding instruction of Kṛṣṇa in Bhagavad-gītā, that is a benediction to you. What more benediction you want, you expect from Kṛṣṇa than this? This is the best benediction He has offered to you:
sarva-dharmān parityajya
mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja
BG 18.66
“Abandoning all varieties of dharma just surrender unto Me. Become My dāsa, nothing else is required.” then you become very dear to Him - bhakta-vatsala Bhagavān. His devotee is very dear to Bhagavān, yes, bhakta-vatsala. Therefore - kṛṣṇera samatā haite bada bhakta-pada - If you become His dear devotee, completely surrender, Kṛṣṇa will give you a greater position, superior position than His. Yes. Otherwise you have no adhikāra at all.
You have no adhikāra that you can occupy such a superior position. No. If you become His dear devotee, completely surrendered, you carry out, you can understand this last instruction, most concluding instruction, it is the best benediction He can pass on you. just accept it, you become very dear. "Yes, this person has understood, he deserves My mercy, yes, he has understood. He has gotten My benediction. Yes.
sarva-dharmān parityajya

BG 18.66
“Abandon all varieties of dharma, just surrender unto Me” - then he becomes very intimate to Kṛṣṇa. Such a devotee, Vaiṣṇava, Kṛṣṇa gives him a greater position, superior position than He has.
na tathā me priyatama
ātma-yonir na śaṅkaraḥ
na ca saṅkarṣaṇo na śrīr
naivātmā ca yathā bhavān
ŚB 11.14.15
He had said this thing to Uddhava - ātma-yonir - Brahmā is not so dear to Me. Saṅkarar, Sivaji is not so dear to Me. My brother Saṅkarsaṇa is not so dear to Me. My wife, Lakshmi is not dear to Me. My soul is not so dear to Me, naivātmā. My soul is not so dear to Me, I am not so dear to Me as you are dear O, Uddhava. Bhakta is so dear, dearer than His own soul, Kṛṣṇa's soul. The bhakta is so dear. Bhakta is crying, devotee is crying for Kṛṣṇa - this is more wonderful - Kṛṣṇa is crying for His devotee. Yes. Crying more! How are you crying? How can you cry? Are you crying for Kṛṣṇa? No, bābā. How Kṛṣṇa is crying for His dear devotee, you cannot understand it. This is wonderful, most wonderful thing. Because jivas are His children. Kṛṣṇa is supreme father. Kṛṣṇa's heart pains. Kṛṣṇa's heart pains seeing His children are suffering because of being devoid of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. He cannot tolerate it, He cannot tolerate. He has made all arrangements for you. Think it of very deeply, seriously. You can understand if you are a thoughtful man, person with good consciousness. He gave Veda Puraṇa where it is said. And to understand tattvas, what Vedas and Puraṇas say He sends His own man, guru, His bonafide representative, dear intimate associate, nija-jana, His own man, to preach the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Otherwise you cannot understand this thing. And in the form of Paramātmā, He is in your heart. He has not deserted you. You have deserted Him. You have forgotten Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa has never forgotten you. He is always with you, He runs behind you, you should understand. He has made all these arrangements. How merciful is He? What is He is doing? Because it is very painful to Him to see His children are suffering. He makes all arrangements. Unless such sādhu comes, Vaiṣṇava comes, His own man, very dear associate comes here, preaches the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, how they will develop Kṛṣṇa consciousness? It is impossible. He makes all the arrangements. Kṛṣṇa's own man, Mahāprabhu's own man, my dear guru-pāda-padma, my revered spiritual master Śrī Śrīmad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupadji Mahārāja descended here to preach the science of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Take today one book on his life history holy life hisory we have printed: The life History. We have printed the abridged form and for the Centennial celebration we are going to celebrate his 100th year birth Centennial. For that purpose we have printed another smaller book also. Today, please, take one book, read his biography, the life history of a Vaiṣṇava. You can understand what he has done, how he has suffered for it. Why he suffers? Because he loves you, because of love. Unless you have love, how can you suffer? The mother has love for her child, her baby so mother suffers. Who suffers? The Vaiṣṇava suffers, yes, because he has love for Kṛṣṇa. "Kṛṣṇa is my most beloved, Kṛṣṇa is the object of my love. Kṛṣṇa suffers because His children are suffering! Therefore he has love. If you can develop love for Kṛṣṇa then you can love one and all. Otherwise there is no question of love at all. No love! One who has developed love for Kṛṣṇa, he has kṛṣṇa-sambandha there is only relationship of Kṛṣṇa. Only one sambandha - all is related to Kṛṣṇa, his most beloved. This is love. If you cannot develop this love how can you love one and all? Devoid of this love, how can you love one and all? You cannot love. Therefore rāga-dveṣa is here in this material world - liking and disliking, hatred. You are in bodily consciousness; you love this body. Those who are related to your body: your wife, son, daughter, brothers, countrymen, or same group or that, you love them. Those who are not related to this body, or family, or group, or that, you hate them.
This is rāga and dveṣa, liking and disliking, love and hatred. Not true love here. Unless you develop kṛṣṇa-prema, love of Kṛṣṇa, you cannot love one and all. This is the only thing how one can love one and all. If he sees kṛṣṇa-sambandha, the relationship of Kṛṣṇa who is the object of love then you will love one and all. Otherwise no possibility at all therefore Prabhupadji Mahārāja has set up that thing: he has set up this Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness, International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness. Yes, he has said, expressed "I set up this examplary Society: this will be a society of Vaiṣṇavas, a society of Vaiṣṇavas, true Vaiṣṇavas where there will be no envy, yes where there will be no envy. Vaiṣṇavas are not envious. Demons are envious." A true Vaiṣṇava sees one relationship, the relationship with Kṛṣṇa who is the oject of love. Everybody, every object everything is related to Kṛṣṇa, everything belongs to Kṛṣṇa. How can he be envious of it? Demons are envious but Vaiṣṇavas are not envious. This is a true Vaiṣṇava he develops true, complete Kṛṣṇa consciouness. He sees kṛṣṇa-sambandha everywhere only relationship, how he will be envious? No question of envy." These are Prabhupada's words he expressed in his book Bhāgavata purport - there will be no envy. "Of course", it is his language, "it is not possible, it is not so easy that everybody can develop Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Still, this will be such a society, an exemplary society where there will be no envy at all. This, Vaiṣṇava will teach this thing by setting up example by his own life, activities, behavior. If it will not be like that, will he be happy, the founder Acarya of ISKCON? We are going to celebrate the Centennial, his one hundred year birth centennary. He is looking at you, he sees, observes everything. If he can see that his purpose is fulfilled he will be very, very happy. This is the proper Centennial celebration I say. Otherwise, what is the value of Centennial celebration if you cannot fulfill his desire? If you can fulfill his desire there will be no envy at all. You understand? When love and friendship will be there then he will be very, very happy. This is the proper Centennial celebration. Otherwise, if he sees his purpose is not fulfilled, he will not be happy at all. You may be doing so many things but if his real purpose is not fulfilled how he will be happy? It might be all externals, all eternals, all externals. This is what I say. Now I will ask others to glorify Śrīla Prabhupada.
vaiṣṇavera guṇa-gāna karile jīvera trāṇa
śuniāchi sādhu guru mukhe
I have heard this from the mouth of sādhu-guru. If you glorify a Vaiṣṇava, Bhagavān, Lord will be very much pleased that His dear devotee is glorified and you will get his mercy, get all the mercy of that sādhu Vaiṣṇava, then you will be easily delivered from the clutches of māyā and your life will be successful.
Thank you very much!
Jay Śrīla Prabhupādaji Mahārāja Ki Jay!
